#1 Like a tree on a river...

"In all that he does, he prospers."

Psalm 1

God blesses those who:

• do not walk in the counsel of the wicked,

• do not stand in the path of sinners,

• do not sit in the seat of scoffers;

• delight in God's Word,

• meditate day and night on God's law.

The blessed one of God is like a tree:

• firmly planted by streams of water,

• yielding its fruit in its season,

• and its leaf does not wither;

He prospers in everything he does.

The wicked:

• are not so,

• are like chaff which the wind drives away;

• will not stand in the judgment,

• will not be in the assembly of the righteous.

God knows the way of the righteous.

The way of the wicked will perish.
