Jesus told of two from Earth who went to their Eternities.

There was a wealthy man who wore fine clothes and lived in joyous luxury.
There was also Lazarus, a poor man at the rich man's gate, diseased and hungering for scraps from the rich man’s table. Dogs would come and lick Lazarus' sores.
Lazarus died and was transported by angels to "Abraham's bosom" or Heaven.
The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades he lifted up his eyes, while in torment, and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus. He cried out and said, "Abraham, have mercy on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame."
But Abraham said, "Sir, remember that during your life you had everything while Lazarus was in dire need. Lazarus is now comforted here, and you are in agony. Between us and you there is a great chasm. We cannot come to you, and none may cross over from there to us."
The rich man said, "Please send Lazarus to my father’s house— to my five brothers—to warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment."
Abraham answered, "They have Scriptures; let them read their Bibles."
The rich man persisted, "No, they don't listen. But if someone rises from the dead, they will repent!"
Abraham said, "If they do not listen to God's Word, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead."
